Jewish Sense is a history-minded journal, respectfully highlighting aspects of Jewish life, culture, creative expression, decent deeds, and meaningful achievements that contribute to Tikkun Olam — the shared work of improving and sustaining our world.
VISION
Across centuries of challenge and change, the Jewish people have remained devoted contributors to the progress and well-being of human civilization. Through diverse fields of thought, work, creativity, and enterprise, the descendants of Jacob–Israel have helped sustain social, economic, and cultural life, offering enduring contributions to humanity’s shared development.
Throughout history, the Jewish people have endured repeated persecution driven by false accusations, oppression, and defamation. Rather than erasing identity, these experiences forged a distinctive resilience — an inner steadiness that enabled survival, renewal, and the restoration of communal life across generations.
Even in seasons of prosperity and calm, a holistic Jewish national sense quietly abides, carrying within it a seasoned memory of hardship that did not diminish hope for relief, but instead deepened and clarified it. From this continuity emerged a refined national spirit marked by authentic compassion, care for others, and a distinctly solution-minded approach to life.
MISSION
The mission of Jewish Sense is to serve as a global media journal that, through engaging storytelling, presents the Jewish world as it is — living, layered, and shaped by care, memory, and meaning. The journal seeks to foster clearer and more meaningful understanding among non-Jewish readers, while offering Jewish readers inspiration through recognition grounded in dignity and remembered truth. Taken as a whole, through the character of its constructive content, Jewish Sense is committed to serving as a source of ongoing inspiration and quiet reassurance for both Jewish and non-Jewish audiences.
